Another Day, Another Dog
LOOK WHAT DWIGHT GOT SIOBHAN FOR HER BIRTHDAY! It's a couple of weeks early...so was even a bigger surprise. While Siobhan was at volleyball, Henry and Dwight put the puppy in her carrier in Siobhan's room. After I brought Siobhan home, I told her that the cleaning lady had said there was a problem in Siobhan's room, so could she please go up and check. Soon we heard LOUD squeals..."He got me a PUPPY!" So sweet.
The puppy's a little girl Chihuahua. As of this moment, she is still un-named. She was a little timid last night with us, but this morning she was more playful.
So far, she's holding her own with Rumbles and Punch. Every time they get near her, she growls and bares her teeny, tiny little teeth and they back off.

Football Season Number Five
Today and 5 years ago.
Such a sweet little face for a football player.
Action shot. Henry is just to the left of number 81. Just like last year, notice how big the opposing team is.
Post game coach talk.
Henry with Joey Garcia.
And of course, Siobhan has to get in on the pictures! A rare sister-brother hug.

Dogpark
We've been in Teaneck for two years, and we just figured out where the local dog-friendly park is! It's not much more than a mowed circle in an area of a woodsy park, but the dogs like it. Rumbles runs around like a crazy maniac. Punch wanders around slowly, sniffing and taking a lot of rests.

Back to School 2008
First day of school. Well, actually the pictures are from the 2nd day of school because Siobhan rushed out of the house on the real first day before I could take the photos. So these are the 2nd day outfits, the 2nd day smiles and the 2nd day attitudes. Sigh.
Anyway...Siobhan is in 9th grade; a freshman at Teaneck High School. Henry is in the 6th grade....still at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. After school on the first day, Henry told Siobhan that he missed her already. Such a sweetie. Siobhan replied with a 'yeah, right, whatever'. Not so sweet.
